What this website collects, why, where it goes, and how long it is kept.
Who we are
Fawcett Systems is a website design and hosting business operating from Kentucky, United States. For any question about this notice, write to info@fawcettsystems.com.
What we collect
Only what you type into the contact form, which is your name, your email address, and your message. There are no other forms on this site.
We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or cookies. Nothing on this site is loaded from a third party, so no third party learns that you visited.
Server logs
Our web server records ordinary access logs: the requesting IP address, the time, the page requested, and the browser's user-agent string. These exist to operate and secure the service — to notice abuse, diagnose faults, and investigate a security incident.
Why we collect it
- Contact form — to answer your enquiry. That is the only reason.
- Server logs — to keep the service running and secure.
We do not sell your information, share it for advertising, or add you to a mailing list. If you write to us about a project, we reply about that project.
Where it goes
- Contact form messages are delivered to our mailbox at Microsoft 365 and sent via Amazon Simple Email Service.
- This website runs on Amazon Web Services infrastructure in the United States.
Those providers process the data on our behalf in order to deliver mail and host the site. Nobody else receives it.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries — kept while we are corresponding and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back to us. If you ask us to delete an enquiry, we delete it.
- Server logs — rotated and discarded on the server's ordinary schedule.
Where we hold information for a client under a contract or a legal obligation, that obligation sets the retention period rather than this notice.
Your choices
Write to info@fawcettsystems.com and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We do not require a particular form of words and we do not charge for it.
Security
The form is served over an encrypted connection and refuses to submit over an unencrypted one. Everything you send is validated on our server. The infrastructure it runs on is hardened to published security benchmarks — see Secure Hosting.

Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
